Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply when you as a customer place orders on our wholesale online shop at, in person at exhibitions, electronically via emails as well as purchase orders. As these terms may be updated without prior notice, we recommend that you read these before placing an order. A binding order occurs when we have confirmed your order. An order confirmation will be sent to the latest e-mail address we have on our records.
By placing a wholesale order with us, you consent to the following terms and conditions:

1. Opening hours
1.1 Our office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays.

2. Minimum Order Quantities & Value
2.1 The minimum order value is £150.00 excluding VAT.
2.2 Products must be ordered in multiples of 3, 4, 6 or 12 depending on the specification of the product. This information can be found on the product page on our website.
2.3 Orders with a value of £450 excluding VAT and above will qualify for free delivery (mainland U.K. only)

3. Placing Orders
3.1 Our preferred method of receiving orders is via our website - You must be logged into your wholesale account to place orders online.
3.2 To avoid confusion and misunderstanding, we do not accept orders over the phone. We are happy to discuss products and trends over the phone, however, orders must be made in writing either via email, POs or via our website.
3.3 Processing of online orders takes priority over all other methods

4. Pre-orders, Back-orders, and Out of Stock Items
4.1 Orders containing pre-ordered items will be automatically split. When feasible, available items will be shipped immediately and out-of-stock items will be put on back-order. If you prefer otherwise, please contact us at [email protected] or make a note when placing online orders at our website.    
4.2 A carriage fee will be applicable to any back order below £450 excluding VAT when splitting the order with pre-ordered items.
4.3 To check product availability, please login to the website and check the product page.

5. Online sales
5.1 As of January 2015 we are no longer able to supply customers selling our goods through Amazon or eBay.
5.2 Selling on either Amazon or eBay will result in the automatic termination of the account without prior warning.

6. Order Processing and times
6.1 Order confirmations are not VAT invoices. VAT invoices are raised on the day the order is dispatched. A copy is emailed to the customer and a printed copy is attached to the delivered goods.
6.2 We aim to process orders within 2-7 working days. Orders received during the weekend or bank holidays may take longer to process.
6.3  During peak season (August to December) processing speed may slow down.

7. Pricing
7.1 All prices are listed in GBP and exclude VAT. Prices are subject to change without notice.
7.2 If we find that the price of any product is quoted incorrectly, we reserve the right to rectify such errors. We will honour the quoted price and all future orders will have the correct price. The retailer will be informed of such correction as soon as possible and will be given the option to cancel the order or proceed with the order at the rectified wholesale price.
7.3 Our wholesale prices and price lists of products made available by Light Style London Ltd shall be deemed as Confidential Information, and to be used by retailers only. Publishing or revealing any Confidential Information disclosed to retailers is strictly prohibited without prior written consent by Light Style London Ltd.

8. Product Descriptions
 8.1 From time to time there may be information on Light Style London’s marketing material (catalogues and website) that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability.
 8.2 We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. (Including after you have submitted your order).

9. Payments & Other transactions
9.1 We accept most debit cards, credit cards, and BACS transfers. Cheques are no longer accepted.
9.2 International customers are responsible for paying all associated bank charges when making BACS transfers. This ensures the full invoice/proforma amount reaches our bank account.
9.3 Differences between international payments received and invoice total resulting from exchange rates and bank fees will be resolved by removing products from the orders to match the amount received.
9.4 Refunds will only be processed in the event you’d like to close your account. Otherwise, credit notes will be issued to be used towards a future order or invoice.

10. Pro forma accounts
10.1 New U.K. customers must pay for the first two orders prior to delivery (pro forma). After the first two pro formas, 30 days credit will be given at Light Style London’s discretion.
10.2 Pro formas will be held for 14 days after which they will be deleted from our system
10.3 All EU and International customers must pay for their orders in full (pro forma) prior to shipment.
11. Credit Accounts
11.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments shall be made in full within 30 days from the date of the invoice. If payments are not made on time we may close any credit extended to you without prior notice and will only be able to supply further orders on a pro forma basis.
11.2 Each customer will be issued with a credit limit based on their trading and payment history. Credit limits may be increased or decreased depending on payment history and at Light Style London’s discretion.
11.3 Should an account go over its credit limit it will be required to settle the balance before further orders are delivered.
11.4 A 50% deposit may be requested for unusually large orders

12. Duties/Taxes/Fees
12.1 All import documentation, licenses, duties, taxes, or other obligations or costs relating to the delivery of the Goods shall be the customer’s responsibility.

13. Deliveries

13.1 Shipping charges are calculated separately and added to the order when applicable.
13.2 We aim to process and ship orders within 48 hrs of receiving them. Deliveries usually occur within 2-7 working days from the moment the order is processed and you receive an invoice. Please note that during peak season (August-December) this may take up to 7 days.
Large orders are delivered via a pallet service. Pallets usually take 2 working days to be delivered.

13.3 U.K. Deliveries
13.3.1 We use overnight courier services to deliver the orders. A delivery fee of £10.00 will be added to any order valued under £450 excluding VAT.

13.4 EU & Worldwide
13.4.1 International deliveries are shipped on an EX-WORKS basis.
13.4.2 The delivery fee to EU and Worldwide countries is dependent on the size, weight, and delivery location. A delivery quote will be provided once we receive the full order.
13.4.3 EU customers are also subject to a customs clearance fee.
13.4.4 EU customers must provide their EORI number and VAT number in order for the order to be successfully delivered.

14. Incorrect or Damaged Goods
14.1 It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect upon receipt, that all merchandise delivered reflects exactly the items purchased and invoiced.
14.2 The customer must make any claims of defects, including but not limited to those related to shortages, quality, or specification, within the first 7 days after receiving the goods.
14.3 The goods are in pristine condition when they leave our warehouse. Nevertheless, goods can be damaged in transit.
14.4 In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged, or the incorrect items were delivered, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Please include the invoice number, codes, and description of the missing/damaged products to help us solve the issue quickly. Any incorrect items will be collected at our own cost.
14.5 Light Style London cannot be responsible for shortages when shipments are directed to a third party.
14.6 If a part of the order is delayed or if part of the order is defective or deficient, the order may only be remedied for that part of the order.

15. Returns:
15.1 If you have changed your mind after 3 working days of receiving the order,  please contact us to discuss the return.
15.2 Please be aware that such returns shipped back to Light Style London Limited are paid for by the customer. We are unable to refund your postal fees.
15.3 We will NOT accept returns of products that:
       - Have been damaged in any way; or
       - Have your own stickers or price labels attached
15.4 Returned products MUST be in their original packaging and outer carton.
15.5 If you are returning items for exchange be aware that an additional delivery charge may apply.
15.6 We do not offer Sale or Return (SOR) at present. All sales are final.
16. Faulty Items
16.1 If you have a faulty item please contact us in writing via email at [email protected] providing photographic and/or video evidence.
16.2 We do our very best to ensure that all of our goods are delivered in perfect working condition, however, occasionally there may be a fault. If the product is faulty within 12 months of purchase due to a fault in manufacturing, Light Style London Ltd will provide a credit note for the faulty item.
16.3 We are unable to offer replacements.
16.4 We reserve the right to inspect reported faulty goods at random (or send goods to be tested within a reasonable time) to determine whether the problem is caused by accident, misuse, or manufacturing.
16.5 The warranty does not apply to reasonable wear and tear or where goods have been altered or repaired without our prior approval.
16.6 Credit notes will be valid for 1 year from the date they are issued.

17. Modification of Goods
17.1 Modification of the goods immediately voids their warranty.

All content included on the site such as text, graphics, logos, and images are all owned by Light Style London Limited and are protected by international copyright laws. If you require images for your own marketing purposes please contact us at [email protected].
